Rick Owens✖️Cyborgism
THE INITIAL IDEA STARED FROM GENETICALLY MODIFIED BABIES.
Due to the development of technology, this topic has been put on the agenda. Through my works, I hope to trigger people’s reflection on the relationship between human and trials.
First, I explored my inspiration through some collage and illustration. Then I researched some Cyborgs’ film images. Mechanisms, animal bones, and the related works of some artists were studied. Through research, I used digital printing and some illustrations to express my concept.
The brand been choose for this topic is Rick Owens. ZIQI inspired by the head-covering models, metallic glossy fabrics and exaggerated silhouettes in his works.
COS✖️Bauhaus
The concept of the second collection is Bauhaus. I combined the graphic works of Die Neue Linie magazine and Small Ship Building Game(Alma Siedhoff-Buscher, 1923). The brand I chose is COS. The style of COS brand is contemporary and suitable for this concept.

Gentle Moscow✖️Bauhaus
The concept of the third collection is Bauhaus. I inspired from Oskar Schlemmer’s Triadisches Ballett and some sculpture works. The brand I chose is Gentle Moscow. Gentle Moscow’s style is contemporary and vintage style. I combine costumes elements with the modernism style.

ZSTEROID✖️Story of the Undersea
Zsteroid is my own brand, and its name comes from the word Asteroid. The design concept is derived from some stories and myths, combined with the inspiration of the designer. Degradable materials to make consumables is also the Inspiration. I am trying to make some garment that can be changed into different shapes by washing them.
I made some textile that can be completely degraded by water. Through the research of some ancient diving suits. Some stories were generated in my mind. According to the stories, I set up three roles then design according to the personalities and identities of different characters.
