For individuals that have had an adverse childhood experience (ACE) their ability to silence their inner critic may be more difficult than others. Through several advertising strategies different storylines are presented to the audience. The initial stage of advertising is 3 moving image pieces following three specific characters; these videos will be placed on digital platforms. A range of problems and solutions are presented within the advertisement by visualising both the bad inner critic and the good inner critic. Moreover, the secondary stage of advertising promotes products in alignment with the issues presented in the moving image pieces however, these products are marketed more generally in order to appeal to a mass audience. The call to action directs individuals to the final stage of promotion, the Bittersweet App.

The name Mother Russia stems from what Russian Dolls represent; the matriarchy of Russia. Targeting Generation Z, Mother Russia aims to supply some light in response to negativity spread online. 5 different characters are depicted within Mother Russia’s brand, with 5 different personalities. Mother Russia hopes to engage with their audience through capturing their attention in public spaces with the hope of directing individuals to their VR filter where they will specifically respond to consumers’ material on their phone and what is making them anxious. Additionally, Mother Russia’s App can further help individuals needs by providing more detailed solutions.
